The Tramex Concrete Moisture Encounter - CMEX5 EZ Kit gives an instant, precise moisture reading on concrete and wood. The kit that does it all.

As a non destructive quantitative moisture test on concrete floors, simply lay the meter down on the floor with the contacts touching the floor and very quickly find any areas of concern.

To test relative humidity in the slab, drill a hole and insert a plastic hole liner. Then attach the Hygro i2 Relative Humidity Probe and take a reading at 40% depth of the slab. For floors with underfloor heating or where drilling could be problematic, a Relative Humidity Hood Box (optional extra) can be taped to the surfave and the Hygro i2 probe inserted.

For wood testing, a pin attachment is included with a list of wood species programmed onto the X5 for precise moisture content, whatever the species.

The devise tests ambient conditions, relative humidity, temperature, dew point.

All readings can be bluetoothed onto a phone app and geo tagged to your jobsite. If your floor was ever to have a wood floor inspection, you have all the data to prove site conditions at the time of installation, conveniently saved in a graph.
