Floor Service Hardwax Oil Classic
Floor Service Hardwax Oil Classic is available in a wide range of colours. Apply 2 coats to wood flooring for a beautiful finish that is highly resistant to dirt and water. As it contains silicic acid, it is also highly resistant to fruit juice, wine, tea/coffee, cola and beverages.
Child Friendly Hardwax Oils
Floor Services Classic is also resistant to saliva and sweat conforming to DIN 688861, 1A. Its also child friendly since it meets the requirements for children’s toys DIN 53160 in conformity with EN 71.
In addition to, it meets anti-slip standard R9.
Apply 1 coat with a roller, trowel or brush. Equalise with a floor buffer, or the Floorboy. Remove all excess oil from the floor with clean pads and towel. Leave overnight. Re-apply next day and remove excess oil.
For trendy 2 tone effects, first apply Prime Old Grey Reactive Stain followed by the oil process.

Hardwax Oil Classic penetrates deep into the wood, without blocking the pores. This allows the wood to breathe, keeping a long lasting natural structure and colour, without a surface build.
Floor Service Hardwax Oil Color Classic 1 Ltr Tins
1 Ltr is sufficient for 12 – 25 sq mtr when using 2 coat. This is dependent on the type of flooring, gaps, sanding, smoothness. If coating pine boards with large gaps expect to cover about 12 – 15 mtr sq, If coating an oak parquet floor expect to cover about 20 – 30 sq tr.
Maintaining An Oiled Floor
Floor Service hardwax oil is easy to maintain with Floor Service maintenance oil, and the Floorboy buffer. Can be used with any oiled floor. Simply spray maintenance oil onto the floor with a trigger sprayer, and buff over with a machine or flat mop. Unlike a lacquered floor, Floor Service Hardwax Classic has nothing on the surface to scratch. If the surface of the wood gets scratched, simply put some maintenance oil on to blend it in. Localised areas can be repaired by sanding and re-oiling, thus without the expense and inconvenience of having the whole floor sanded.
